Teleconference Tutorial for the measurement of the Nuchal Translucency & the assessment of the markers

Nuchal Translucency (NT) teleconference tutorial

We offer an educational intervention that addresses technique and operators understanding of audit. The Tutorial is presented by a sonographer who is experienced in the measurement of the Nuchal Translucency (NT) and the Nuchal Program.

Operators who have participated in this tutorial have found it to be beneficial; we have seen an improvement in performance at a subsequent audit.

Centre Contact People who are working with operators who are not meeting standard for the measurement of the NT have been directed to this link. For your information, The Guidelines for Quality Review for the First trimester scan may be found on this website.

Please review your annual centre audit report or feedback you received via email when your new license was sent to the centre. Please liaise with operators who are not meeting standard to arrange for them to participate in the Teleconference Tutorial. Operators who are meeting standard are also welcome to participate. It is expected that the Centre Contact Person or Chief sonographer at the practice will facilitate attendance for their staff.
